PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR ECU HAS THE LAZY PCM, DELAYED START PROBLEM, WHICH IS ONLY WHAT I FIX.

check engine light
DOES NOT
come on
as soon as you turn your ignition key to the on position; if your power relays are clicking on and off and your fuel pump does not prime until after the
check engine light
finally comes on minutes later
on your dashboard, then this repair service is what you need to fix that LAZY PCM problem.
There are a few components in your ECU, called
power capacitors, that have gone bad and need to be removed and
replaced
.
As they get older, the power capacitors take a longer and longer time to build up a charge, from the time
you turn on your ignition,
before they can store up enough of a charge to power up the vehicle's main power relays, allowing your Jeep to start.
That is what is delaying your check engine light from coming on and keeping
the power relays from energizing immediately.
I will disassemble your ECU, replace those defective parts, clean up and then reseal the ECU motherboard.
No more waiting around in the morning or in cold, dark parking lots wondering how long it will take your Jeep to start today.

I cannot guarantee that this service will fix anything else wrong with your ECU, except the exact stated delayed start-up problem. This repair will not
fix you ECU if it's burned up inside, smells highly of melted electronics and plastic or if the brown ballistic-like gel is bubbled and looks deformed or melted. I've seen some badly burnt up ones over the years and they just cannot be repaired, if they are that badly roasted and toasted.
YOU will have to properly diagnose
your Jeep, to be certain that
this is indeed the problem with
your own ECU
using all the info and symptoms that I have described on this listing, since I can't possibly do that for you.
Why risk paying a lot more to purchase an old, used jeep ECU, one that probably also has the same old components in it that will soon fail, just as yours did, and it might not even be compatible with your Jeep. If you buy a replacement ECU, the numbers on your old one and the replacement have to match exactly or it won't work properly.
Have your original Jeep ECU fixed of the delayed check engine light, no start problem and be certain it will work properly in your Jeep.

disconnect
the wire harness by unscrewing it from the ECU and then unscrew the ECU from your Jeep, and ship it to me at your expense.
