Lengthy Georgian 18K & Silver Rose Cut Diamond Earrings

Description

An incredible pair of Georgian era earrings. These earrings date from the early 1800s. They are in excellent condition with normal wear. They are crafted from 18K yellow gold and sterling silver. The body of the earrings is primarily 18K yellow gold with the rose-cut diamonds in sterling collet settings. The length of these earrings is very impressive, spanning at about 3 inches. The hooks are sleepers with a fairly deep anchor to hook the backing to the front. The diamonds are all-natural Rose-Cut Diamonds. The diamonds all appear to be original and present. These earrings are articulated in three places; the tops with the ear wire, the middle, and the finishing bottom dangle. There is a makers hallmark of B.A. with an unidentifiable cartouche. We have tested the 18K, sterling as well as the diamonds.
