    vintage black amethyst depression glass footed mayonnaise bowl in the “Mount Pleasant” pattern by L. E. Smith Glass!  Smith made the Mount Pleasant pattern in the 1920s, and it’s also sometimes called “Double Shield”.  It’s very popular, but it’s getting harder and harder to find pieces with no damage or oxidation.  This awesome mayo bowl is immaculate!  Floral print on the  inside. There are no chips, cracks, flakes, fleabites, nicks or roughness anywhere, and the glass is nice and shiny – absolutely no stains, scratches, or dullness whatsoever.  It stands 3 inches high, and it's triangular in shape.  It measures about 6 inches across the top.
