  • Condition: Very little use detected on the Mayonnaise Bowl; very close examination reveals what looks like a watermark at the bottom of the bowl, and a small scratch on the side. I couldn't find any sign of use on the associated underplate. The cake/serving plate has what look like watermarks at the center of the plate, and some scratches on the underside. I've used a pen in the attached photographs to guide the viewer to these signs of use.

    Description

    L.E. Smith Mt. Pleasant Depression Glass:  6-1/2" x 6 " mayonnaise/condiment bowl with handles.  8-1/4" x 7" underplate with handles.  This pair is often described as "Mayonnaise Bowl with Underplate".  11-1/2" x 10" cake/serving plate with handles.  Very little use detected on the Mayonnaise Bowl; very close examination reveals what looks like a watermark at the bottom of the bowl, and a small scratch on the side. I couldn't find any sign of use on the associated underplate.  The cake/serving plate has what look like watermarks at the center of the plate, and some scratches on the underside.  I've used a pen in the attached photographs to guide the viewer to these signs of use.  Please contact me with any additional questions/concerns about their condition.
